UV Laser Beam Expander
Eternal Optics manufactures precision UV Laser Beam Expanders designed for advanced 355nm and 266nm ultraviolet laser systems, providing accurate beam expansion, reduced divergence, and optimized laser beam quality for high-precision processing applications.
A UV Laser Beam Expander is an essential optical component used to increase laser beam diameter while reducing beam divergence. By expanding the laser beam before focusing or scanning, beam expanders improve optical system performance, enhance beam utilization, and help achieve smaller and more consistent laser spots in precision manufacturing processes.
Our UV Beam Expanders are manufactured using high-purity UV Fused Silica optical elements with wavelength-specific AR coatings optimized for ultraviolet laser wavelengths. When a vision system is being integrated into laser machining system, our achromatic telecentic scan lenses are colour- corrected between working wavelength and vision wavelength. The achromatic telecentric scan lens offers the benefits as same as the normal telecentic lens yet able to provide accurate vision positioning function. It is very useful for online inspection systems where the operator does not need to have offline inspection on the work piece.
